Alix Bizet has worked several years with numerous UK schools and Universities and Museums in developing, producing and delivering educational programs, introducing students to materials research, process and the practice of design and research.
Her educational programs allow students to develop their design, decision and making skills while engaging with questions of identity and representations, society norms and convention, sustainability and decolonisation of the curriculum.
These programs put at the centre the views and voices of the participants but also act as a platform allowing participants to collaborate and to extend the narratives behind materiality culture, making process and solutions. The programs are based on a cross-disciplinary where different practice meet, from craftsmen to visual anthropologist, historian, storyteller, filmmaker or audio producer, making sure participant broader their views on design but also get to discover new careers.
